Donostia-San Sebastian, February 17, 2010 - The Surf Film Contest is a project from Amstel Surffilm Festibal , a surf and culture festival which will hold its 8th edition in Donostia - San Sebastian from June 9th to 13th 2010.
The Amstel Surfilm Festibal 8 is back and this year we are introducing a new film competition: The Surf Film Contest! This is an international surf film competition made up of two parts:
I.The Short Film Contest
All the short films will be broadcasted through our Dailymotion.com channel. Entries can be submitted from February the 15th until May the 15th 2010.
An international jury (we will disclose its members on March the 1st) will award the different prizes for each category (except for the Public’s Choice prize). The winner of the main prize (Best Short Film presented by Amstel) will get 1500€; the other prizes will be announced on March the 1st.
II.The Feature Film Contest
This year we want to become a celebration of the best surf films in the world and for that we will give give 6000€uros to the best surf film!! Send a copy of your film before April 15th 2010.
