THE LOCATION
Hossegor is the surfing capital of Europe, a charming village surrounded by maritime pine forests and impressive sand dunes, coming alive with beautiful people from spring to autumn. The waves are always perfect, and the variety of spots makes it possible for surfers of all levels to enjoy unforgettable sessions. In addition to outlets of the world's best surf brands, Hossegor also offers stylish cafes and local bars where you can enjoy craft beer while listening to live music.
OUR SURF LODGE
Our surf lodge is a comfortable villa surrounded by greenery, located just 8 minutes from the sea. It is equipped with large common areas, both inside, as two kitchens and two living rooms, that outside, with a barbecue area and outdoor tables to fully experience the atmosphere of the house. It also has a dedicated yoga space, where you can practice from morning to sunset, a storage room for boards and wetsuits and many other services designed for surfing lovers.
OUR SURF LESSON
At Roofless Surf Lodge, our courses last about 2 hours and are led by instructors with French certification, fluent in Italian, English, and French. We offer courses for all levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced, with schedules based on tides and sea conditions.
For beginner and intermediate courses, equipment is provided, while for advanced surfers, we highly recommend bringing your own gear. Every lesson also includes insurance, so you can surf with total peace of mind!
Our goal? To improve every day, gain new skills, and become more mindful surfers, all while enjoying the thrill of surfing and having fun, both in and out of the water!
Program
Upon arrival at Bordeaux, Biarritz or Lourdes airports, you can choose to reach the surfhouse independently or take advantage of our shuttle service. After room assignments and gear distribution, there will be a welcome beer. Activities, including surf lessons, will be planned based on weather conditions and the group's preferences. Evenings may include trips to Biarritz or San Sebastián, BBQ nights at the surfhouse, and oyster tastings.
Hossegor also offers plenty of other activities, such as surf skate sessions, shopping at famous surf outlets, or just relaxing on the beach. The nightlife and numerous clubs complete the perfect day.
ACCOMODATION
QUADRUPLE
In our surfhouse, we offer the possibility of staying in large dorms for 4 people. Each room has a view of our garden and the grove. It is the perfect option for those travelling with friends or wishing to make new friendships.
DORM OF SIX
We offer the possibility of staying in a dormitory for 6 people. The dorm has a window door overlooking our terrace with view of the grove. It is the perfect choice for those who want to spend days in company with new people.
DOUBLE
For couples or those who prefer more intimacy during their stay, we offer three beautiful rooms with double beds. Each of them offers a lovely view of the nature that surrounds us: a bright skylight with a view of the stars, a window on our grove or direct access to the garden.
FAMILY ROOM
If you are a group of friends or family, this is the best option for you. The room offers five beds, a private shower and a beautiful balcony overlooking the surrounding greenery. Located on the highest floor of the house, get ready to sleep in a cozy attic.
